The newly launched Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G and Ai+ Pulse 2 FE cater to distinct needs, with the Nova 2 Power 5G focusing on class-leading battery life and 5G speeds, while the Pulse 2 FE targets budget-conscious buyers seeking modern essentials. Both smartphones run on Android 16 right out of the box. The Nova 2 Power 5G is priced at ₹15,999, while the Pulse 2 FE comes in at a more affordable ₹8,999, making it an attractive option for first-time smartphone users or those looking for a reliable secondary device.
The Nova 2 Power 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It features a large 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and an immersive viewing experience. Its standout feature is the massive 7,000 mAh battery, which delivers exceptional endurance and is ideal for delivery drivers, long commuters, or gamers who want multi-day battery life without carrying a power bank. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary lens, while the 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also comes with a TPU case, charger, and data cable in the box.
The Ai+ Pulse 2 FE, on the other hand, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 4G processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It features a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth performance for everyday tasks. The battery is a standard 5,000 mAh unit with 18W charging, which should easily last a full day of moderate use. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP AI dual camera, while the 8MP front camera is adequate for basic selfies and video calls. Like the Nova 2 Power 5G, it ships with a TPU case, charger, and data cable.
When choosing between the two, the core trade-offs are clear. The Nova 2 Power 5G offers significantly better battery endurance and 5G connectivity, making it the superior choice for users who need reliable performance and long-lasting power. The Pulse 2 FE, however, is restricted to 4G LTE and offers modest processing power, making it better suited as a secondary phone or an entry-level device for essential apps. If your budget allows, the Nova 2 Power 5G is the better investment for long-term use. But if you are looking for an affordable smartphone for basic tasks, the Pulse 2 FE delivers excellent value for its price.
