Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 Week 9 Task: Shijin’s Discovery and Secret Hiding Stun the House
The latest twist in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8’s Week 9 weekly task has left the house and its audience buzzing, with contestant Shijin emerging as the central figure in a dramatic sequence involving the discovery and concealment of a crucial prop referred to as the “atom bomb.” The sequence of events unfolded across two distinct phases—first, Shijin’s remarkable success in locating the item that had been expertly hidden by Nowfina and Mridula, and second, his own strategic efforts to conceal it from the rest of the house.
The discovery itself was a testament to Shijin’s persistence. He managed to find the “atom bomb” item hidden in a very difficult-to-spot location near the main door—an area that is typically dark and overlooked even during the day. The video emphasises that Shijin’s success was due to his hard work and strategic thinking rather than luck, as he had been putting in significant effort over the past three days alongside other contestants like Asif, Komban, Aishwarya, and Gautham. Audience reactions online have been mixed, with many viewers praising Shijin’s dedication and gaming skills while others expressed shock or frustration at the development. Audience commended Shijin for his “brilliant game,” noting that he thoroughly searched the house to find the item in a spot no one expected anyone to check.
Following the discovery, Shijin immediately set about securing his prize. He first attempted to hide the object inside a decorative structure near the sofa area, but suspecting it might be discovered, he later moved it to a garden area. In a final act of strategic concealment, he buried the item under artificial grass in a corner of the garden to keep it secure, ensuring that even if others searched the premises, they would be unlikely to find it.
The sequence has become one of the most discussed moments of the week, highlighting the intense strategic layers that have come to define the “Operation Last Missile” task. Shijin’s ability to locate a hidden item in a dark, overlooked corner and then outmanoeuvre his fellow contestants by re-hiding it in an unexpected location demonstrates the kind of gameplay that has made him one of the season’s most polarising yet compelling figures. Whether this latest move will translate into a decisive advantage in the task or spark yet another confrontation with his rivals remains to be seen, but for now, Shijin has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8.
